I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it was just some b*stard with a torch, bringing me more work.

Whilst I’m on animation, I was thinking about other animators I like and remembered Cyriak. He’s brilliant too. Dark, crude, twisted and just plain bonkers and all the better for it.

Radio ad over their website homepage for unintentionally hilarious results. Turn that sound up.

There’s nothing to this clip apart from loads of nostalgia. It popped into my inbox and deserves another airing. I think I like the muppets more now than I did back then. Which is weird.

Small business names

Lots of people in advertising think that puns are evil but I disagree. More often than not they make me smile and even though you won’t find them in any copy I write, that can’t be such a bad thing. Small business names are full of puns, this website has complied a list of 50 of them. There are definately some good ones here (see below) but I have seen loads more around and about.
Some of my favourites are:
Jason’s Donor van (just been told this one. nice)
Pie-minister (pie stall seen at loads of festivals)
Good Thai Dins (again a festival regular)
Turn’em Clean (Laundrette near Turnham Green, London)
